Stapleton plays mostly big Gibson jazz boxes these days, as opposed to the Les Pauls and Strats that dominated his earlier playing. The big guitar compliments his gig with Little Bill, while Billy still uses his trusty “Frankencaster” for slide guitar duties.

Little Bill and the Blue Notes are an institution more than a band.  With bassist/vocalist Bill Englehart, and the tight and steady multiple award winning Billy Barner on drums.
